Nicole Eggert talks to Megyn Kelly about Scott Baio sexually assaulting her

After the episode was shelved, Eggert started her accusation on Twitter by responding to a tweet stating Baio, who is a supporter of President Donald Trump, was unable to accompany the President to Switzerland. "We started filming the show in 1986, when I was 14, and he immediately took to me, and befriended me, and gained my trust".

Nicole Eggert detailed the first time "Charles in Charge" co-star Scott Baio molested her in his garage - and revealed why she lied about it for so long. Eggert told Kelly that at the time, she covered up the abuse because she was ashamed and didn't want to portray the show in a bad light. Baio has said that Eggert was 18 or 19 when they had sex. He was playing not only on my emotions, but my hormones, and all of those things. The actress talked to #Megyn Kelly on her show this morning and discussed what really happened between her and Baio. Richie's radio show was one of Baio's pieces of refuting evidence, since Eggert appeared on his show in 2013 and characterized her relationship with Baio as above-board.

"That happened quite often, through the age of 16", she said of the touching.

"It was upsetting. It wasn't a good experience at all", Eggert said of the intercourse.

Scott Baio is kind of an asshole.

Speaking on Megyn Kelly Today on Tuesday, the actress, 46, spoke about claims she first made on Twitter over the weekend, where she alleged that Baio, 57, molested her beginning at age 14. Eggert said Baio told her not to tell anyone about their relationship since it was "illegal" and he would "go to jail", thus ending the show. On set, she said there was a lot of "groping, a lot of fondling, a lot of pulling me on his lap, trying to sneak kisses on the back", she says of behavior other castmembers witnessed.

"There are a lot of weird, odd rumors about things that went on between us, but we became really good friends and everything is way more innocent than it was made out to be", Eggert told Yahoo then.

She said after their encounter, he didn't treat her well on set.

Alex Polinsky tweeted and deleted that he too was abused by Baio on set, though not sexually. "I had never experienced anything like that before", Nicole tearfully told Megyn of the alleged abuse.

Eggert alluded to an inappropriate encounter in a recent tweet.

"It wasn't until getting a little bit older that I started to realize this is not love", Eggert said.

Baio did a live video on his Facebook page Sunday, Jan. 28, where he addressed Eggert's statements and gave his version of the story.
