OnePlus 5T Android 8.0 Oreo Open Beta Will be Available Soon

Today, OnePlus Germany posted an intriguing message on Twitter saying that an Android Oreo beta build should be available right now.

After rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo for OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 last month and for OnePlus 5 earlier this week, the OnePlus 5T is the only smartphone in the current lineup to still get the update. Sources suspect that it could be uploaded soon or in the next few days. The phone launched with Nougat but it has yet to receive Android Oreo.

Picture-in-picture, notification channels, and autofill are just some of the new features added to the device. Users are expected to find bugs and report them in order to help the developers correct them. So what about LG's first flagship for 2017, the LG G6? The latest update brings a host of new updates including Parallel Apps feature that allow users to create multiple accounts for apps such as Facebook and WhatsApp. The brand's products are sufficiently capable of taking on the latest models from the competition.

The device sports a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display with full vision, 1440×2880 pixels, HDR10 support and houses a 3300mAh non removable battery.

The update is being made available as both an OTA update to be downloaded directly to the phone, or as a download to the PC that can be uploaded to the phone via LG's "Bridge" application. There is also an 8GB + 128GB variant available for Rs 37,999. OnePlus 5 users will also get history feature in Calculator and alarm calendar feature in Clock.
