OnePlus introduced the Lava Red variant of its flagship device OnePlus 5T a few days back.

"We are happy to kickstart 2018 with the much requested OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition, our first ever red smartphone, that will certainly appeal to those looking for the flawless balance of lovely design and powerful features." said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India.

Commenting on the development, Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India disclosed that the company is thrilled and excited by the overwhelming response to the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition.

OnePlus brought the Lava Red color of the 5T to CES to show off, and we got some hands-on time. It also comes in the same 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. To help the device keep its texture OnePlus has used AF coating, double blasting along with anodic oxidation process. Apart from the unique colour, the smartphone has the same specifications and features as the standard OnePlus 5T. The device is pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on top of Oxygen OS.

The OnePlus 5T sports a 6.01-inch full-HD + (1080x2160 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. OnePlus 5T is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which makes the device fast and ensures a lag free performance. The smartphone looks more or less similar to the OnePlus 5 save for thinner bezels up front and the relocation of the fingerprint sensor to the rear panel. Interestingly, the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition will also be available at the store along with the free earphone offer. Under the hood is a 3300mAh non-removable battery.
