Oprah Winfrey Wins US Presidency in Hypothetical Race Against Trump

"I like Oprah but I don't think she's going to run".

"I don't know if he saw it", Gidley responded to a reporter's question about whether Trump saw Winfrey's impassioned speech in which she made no mention of him or the presidency.

Her partner, Stedman Graham, told the Los Angeles Times: 'It's up to the people.

The survey also found that Winfrey is the favored candidate of women, with 52% of the women polled stating that they'd vote for her, while 43% of men favor current President Donald Trump.

Oprah's BFF Gayle King denies that the queen of media would make a presidential run. "I was up talking to her very late last night", King added. I do think she was intrigued by the idea. Those under 40 are far more likely to choose Winfrey over Trump as the nation's next president than their elders are.

Asked whether Winfrey was qualified, Sanders said, "Look, I disagree very much on her policies", although Winfrey has no voting record. "Is she a successful individual?"

"It's something that she would really search within herself about what she can and wants to do". She also added: "She loves this country and would like to be in service in some way, but I don't think she is actively considering it".

The President has spoken warmly of Winfrey in the past, tweeting in 2012: "I adore Oprah". "But listen, there are people who have said they want to be her campaign manager, who want to quit their jobs and campaign for her".

Last night the media mogul spoke out as she became the first African-American woman to be awarded the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes. However, Ingraham noted, "Surely she knew that both straight and gay men in Hollywood had abused their positions of power for years".

Winfrey never mentioned running for office.

Winfrey has her own studio, a TV channel and a magazine.

"We all know that the press is under siege at the moment", Winfrey said.

"Have you ever thought given the popularity you have - we haven't broken the glass ceiling yet for women - that you could actually run for president and be elected?" "At the same time, politics is ridiculous right now".
