Salman opens up about Tiger Zinda Hai's blockbuster collections

The movie was the sequel to 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. The action flick also has Katrina performing some breath-taking stunts besides the "Sultan" actor and the film has some really lovely picturesque locations as it has been extensively been shot in Abu Dhabi, Austria, Morocco and Greece and the film is expected to enter the Rs 300 crore club by this weekend. There is no stoppage for Salman's film as it collected Rs 18.04 on Monday. The movie was first major drop in collections on first Tuesday. With 360 crores (gross) coming from India and another 104 crores (gross) coming from the overseas market, the worldwide gross collections of Tiger Zinda Hai after a 12 days stands at whopping 464 crores.

Salman Khan's mega action entertainer has emerged as the biggest Bollywood blockbuster of the year after having amassed 272.79 crore nett. Interestingly, Katrina Kaif features in that film too along with Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, hence reaffirming once again that when it comes to a biggie, she is the chosen one.

And very soon the Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial will enter the Rs 300 crore club.


If it manages to cross Rs 300-crore mar then it will be Salman Khan's third movie to achieve the feat.

Meanwhile, director Ali Abbas Zafar is now waiting for Tiger Zinda Hai to go past the lifetime total of his own Sultan [301.50 crore]. TZH saw them reprise their roles of RAW and ISI agents Tiger and Zoya respectively. Besides this, Tiger Zinda Hai has a gripping plot and the storyline is fast paced.
