Steelers' Antonio Brown (calf, illness) officially questionable for Sunday

Coach Mike Tomlin said the Steelers aren't anxious about Antonio Brown's calf injury preventing him from playing in Sunday's playoff game. Head coach Mike Tomlin says he kept Brown away from Friday's practice to prevent his illness from spreading to other players. "But what people don't necessarily see is how hard that player works on the tape, in practice, how competitive he is in practice". "We'll bring him back in the building (Saturday) and continue with his game readiness".

If Brown's chances of playing really are in jeopardy, it could make sense for Tomlin to keep that under wraps and force the Jaguars to prepare for a player who may not play.

But, he's officially listed as questionable on the injury report and has missed the last couple of weeks. "We do need to get him well from an illness standpoint".

If he plays, Ramsey is expected to draw the assignment of covering Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, the AFC Offensive Player of the Year after recording 101 catches for a league-high 1,533 yards. I didn't want him to get any of the guys that weren't sick, sick.

Linebackers Telvin Smith and Paul Posluszny practiced in full Friday.
