Trump Did "Exceedingly Well" on Mental Exam

Trump Did

His White House physician, U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, added what he called "a screening assessment for cognitive impairment" to Trump's annual health assessment. "It does rule out the need to do any other cognitive assessment", Jackson said.

Trump scored a flawless 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a standard test that helps primary care physicians spot early-onset Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia. After some reports that Donald displays signs of mental decline, he apparently insisted on the test. Called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, it is created to detect early signs of memory loss and other neurologic functions - and Trump had a ideal score.

It's not part of the usual battery of tests given to a president and may reflect an outpouring of coverage and commentary questioning whether Trump is mentally fit for office.

As far as he knows, Jackson said this is the first time a doctor has performed a cognitive assessment on a president. Jackson acknowledged Trump takes Propecia, a hairloss medicine.

'If the president wants to get one done next year, then we'll do another one next year, ' he said.

Said Huckabee Sanders, "We support what he said yesterday 100%, that the President is in excellent health".

He reported that the 6ft 3in president weighed in at 239lb, three pounds heavier than he was in September 2016, and advised he shed ten to 15lb over the next year.

The president would like to lose 10 to 15 pounds, according to the physician.

At his weight and height, the president is borderline obese.

'That did drive part of the process, ' Jackson said Tuesday.

"He continues to enjoy the significant long-term cardiac and overall health benefits that come from a lifetime of abstinence from tobacco and alcohol", Jackson wrote.

Ronny Jackson issued a declaration yesterday that the United States president was in "excellent health" after the examination last Friday, and released specific details of his weight and blood pressure.

"He has a history of elevated cholesterol, and is now on a low dose of Crestor. You can make cardiac calculations, and you can see what his risk of having a cardiac or a cerebrovascular event might be", he said.

Apart from this, Trump has no problems in vision, head, ears, nose, and throat.

And if he did, Jackson declared, "I would bring that up to the proper people in the chain of command".

"According to Obama's last physical, when he was 54 1/2 years old, he was 6' 1 1/2", 175 pounds with a body mass index of 22.8, resting heart rate of 56 bpm and blood pressure of 110/68 mm HG.
