Trump Inks Executive Order to Provide Mental Health Services for Transitioning Veterans

Before jetting off to his private Mar-a-Lago resort on Friday, President Donald Trump will have to open up and say 'ahhh'.

"I hope they don't get lost in this".

On the plus side, President Trump doesn't smoke and doesn't drink, a decision he says was influenced by his brother Fred.

More than 250,000 members of the military separate annually, and mental health services are already strained because of a lack of resources.

"We want them to get the highest care and the care that they so richly deserve", Trump said.

"We are not stating that Mr. Trump has a certain condition or that any of these are definitive conclusions", Lee said in an interview.

Wolff's book release coincided with reports of an unofficial Yale psychiatrist's diagnosis of the president, adding to the talk of Trump's mental health. Usually, the results buffer their standing as healthy, capable leaders.

"Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" - an expose by author and political muckraker Michael Wolff that quotes key Trump aides expressing serious doubt about his fitness for office - hit the shelves last week despite threats of legal action.

Dr. Jamie Wells, M.D., Director of Medicine for the American Council on Science and Health (ACSH), wrote on the ACSH website that professionals who have publically came forward with diagnoses of the president's mental and physical state, "cannot possibly be fully informed when they are not the treating physician".

But it is up to Mr Trump to sign off on all information to be released, because of medical privacy issues. The official report from Mr Obama's last check-up in February 2016 includes data on his blood pressure and body mass index, and indicates that his vision, hearing, cardiac health and cholesterol levels were all checked.

Obama's 2016 physical summary cover an eye exam, ears, nose and throat, thyroid exam, lungs, heart, skin, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal and neurological.

In fact, new analysis from the Washington Post found that Trump has made more than 2,000 false or misleading claims since entering office. (Ronald Reagan was 69 when he was elected president).

White House Spokesperson Sarah Sanders has promised to read out to reporters the results of Trump's exam as soon as they are available, CNN reported.

"All clinical data indicates that the president is now very healthy and that he will remain so for the duration of his Presidency", Jackson wrote in his description of President Barack Obama's final physical exam in 2016.

Even some Republicans have recently questioned the president's fitness for office. Many factors, including the Central American economy and gang violence, play a role in migration patterns.

As for his diet, Trump enjoys fast food, steaks well-done and with ketchup, chocolate cake and double scoops of vanilla ice cream, and reportedly downs 12 Diet Cokes a day.

Famously, Trump has never smoked and drunk alcohol as his alcoholic brother Fred died aged just 43.
