'Vogue' Photographer Mario Testino Accused Of Groping & Masturbating On Male Models

Publishing giant Condé Nast has said it would stop working with both men in the wake of a New York Times report Saturday that quoted current and former male models and male assistants who accused Weber and Testino of abusing their power by subjecting them to coercive sexual behavior.

And fellow model Ryan Locke described Testino as a "sexual predator" who he claims was aggressive and flirtatious throughout one naked shoot before ordering everyone else out of the room.

USA photographer Weber, 71, was accused by 15 current and former models of subjecting them to unnecessary nudity and coercive sexual behaviour, according to The New York Times. One claimed that Weber put his fingers in his mouth, and added that they didn't have sex but there was "a lot of molestation" and touching. A lot of touching.

As for Weber, 71, several models told The Times that during private sessions with him, he would pressure them to pose nude for test shoots, and would initiate "breathing exercises" that would lead to inappropriate touching. Weber often would guide the models' hands with his own, the newspaper reported.

Testino is a Vogue favorite and has photographed prominent members of the British royal family, including Princess Diana.

Numerous accusers spoke on the condition of anonymity.

While Voguehas worked with both Mario and Bruce, and with Mario as recently as their February 2018 issue, they will no longer be working with either of the photographers in light of the allegations.

Both men have been surprised by the allegations, with a statement from Weber's lawyer saying he is "shocked and saddened by the outrageous claims being made against me".

Lavely & Singer, a law firm that represents Testino, challenged the characters and credibility of people who complained of harassment.

They added that the publisher had chose to stop working with Testino and Weber "for the foreseeable future". He told the Times that when he told other models he was going to meet Testino for a possible casting "everyone started making these jokes - they said he was notorious, and 'tighten your belt'".

"Then he crawls on the bed, climbs on top of me and says, 'I'm the girl, you're the boy, '" Locke said.

"I went at him, like, you better get away", Locke said.

Model Bobby Roache said Weber tried to put his hands down Roache's pants during a casting in 2007.

Testino, 63, groped and made other unwelcome passes, 13 models and assistants alleged to the New York Times.

"Sexual harassment was a constant reality", Roman Barrett, a former Testino assistant, who worked for him in the 1990s, told The Times. "Today, allegations have been made against Bruce Weber and Mario Testino, stories that have been hard to hear and heartbreaking to confront".

The NYT also reports that fashion photographer Bruce Weber, who contributed to Vogue in the past, as well, faces sexual misconduct claims from 15 different male models.
