Wenger gets 3-match touchline ban for abusive behaviour

Earlier in their last match in EPL, they faced Arsenal which was the away match of the Blues.

It is understood the FA's latest enquiry relates in particular to Wenger appearing to suggest in interviews before and after the Chelsea game that there may be a conspiracy against his team.

Arsenal have conceded four penalties in the Premier League this season - no team have conceded more - and against West Brom and Chelsea both came after they had taken the lead.

Wilshere, 26, starred in a 2-2 draw at home to Chelsea in midweek, opening the scoring with a thumping close-range finish.

Morata squandered another golden opportunity three minutes later when he held off Calum Chambers to race onto Fabregas' through-ball, but clipped his shot over from inside the box on the right.

Conte feels Morata is short of luck and rued the failure to see out victory after Alonso's 84th-minute strike put the visitors ahead.

Lacazette should have got on the score sheet on 53 minutes after coming face to face with Courtois but hit his shot against the Belgian.

Since the beginning of the match, the game was full of excitement with attack and counter attack.

Courtois also made another brilliant save from Alexandre Lacazette down to his left-hand side to keep Chelsea in the game.

Cech made a fine double save five minutes into the second half, first stopping Hazard with his feet before turning Alonso's header round the post.

Arsenal fans believe their side were on the wrong side of a soft spot-kick for the second game in a row.

After converting the penalty, the Belgian worldwide has now been involved in 100 Premier League goals for Chelsea (63 goals, 37 assists).

Marcos Alonso thought he had scored the victor on 84 minutes after slotting in Zappacosta's low cross but Hector Bellerin grabbed a late equaliser in the 92nd minute to rescue a point for Arsenal. But the hope of Chelsea remained untouched. D efender Bellerin later netted an equaliser in stoppage time.

By playing 22 matches in EPL this season, with 62 points Manchester City is in top position on the point table. With 46 points, Chelsea is in 3rd position so far. Tottenham could move to within a point of fourth-place Liverpool with a win, while West Ham would move four points clear of the relegation zone with a surprise win in north London.
