Woman's tattoo plays final voicemail from late grandmother

Sakyrah googled waveform tattoos and found a company which hires tattoo artists from across the U.S. who can ink them on to people's skin.

'A month before she passed, she left me a voicemail wishing me happy birthday.

"My grandma passed away my junior year of high school", she tweeted.

Thanks to technology, Angelique gets to play her late grandmother's message through the Skin Motion app available on iOS and Android devices, according to WTOL.

When her grandmother passed away, Sakyrah "decided to save the voicemail in as many places as I could" and later made a decision to invest in a soundwave tattoo.

Sharing incredible footage of her unique tattoo in action on Instagram she explained: "As some of you may know, my grandma meant the world to me".

A precious happy birthday voicemail that singer Sakyrah Angelique's (s.o.s) grandmother left her before passing away is now tattooed on the left side of her collarbone. Using an app, people can scan the tattoo and hear audio.whether it be a song, a bark of an old dog or a past loved one's voice. "I figured it'd be something permanent that would be across my heart to be more meaningful".

The company's website explains how it works using image recognition, with the audio file played back using their app.

Other social media users were quick to react to her post, which has been shared over 13,000 times.

Then, she discovered Skin Motion's technology that enabled her to hear her grandmother's voice. "Bless your heart Sakyrah".
