BJP leader Ram Madhav's Twitter account hacked

BJP leader Ram Madhav's Twitter account hacked

The verified mark, the blue tick next to the name of the Twitter user which ascertains a profile's authenticity, was taken off the profiles of Anupam Kher and Ram Madhav.

Kher claimed he received a direct message from Swapan Dasgupta on Twitter before his account was compromised.

The Twitter handle of the actor was allegedly hacked by "Pro-Pakistan" Turkish cyber army ayyildiz tim. The 62-year-old actor, who is now in Los Angeles, told PTI Monday that he came to know about the breach from his friends in India. The hackers then pinned a tweet from a Turkish account on Kher's Timeline.

"Got a DM yesterday from Mr. Swapan Dasgupta's account about a link".

"My Twitter account has been hacked". A first from him. The account was also briefly suspended before being restored. I am in Los Angeles right now and it is 1 am here.

According to a report in DNA, the hackers posted from Kher's Twitter handle: "Your account has been hacked by the Turkish cyber army Ayyildiz Tim. So opened it. Have spoken to Twitter already", Kher added.

It was then speculated that Dasgupta's Twitter account had also been hacked as the MP was seen retweeting Government of Pakistan as well as Inter-Services Pakistan Relations, the Pakistani military's media wings. Your DM correspondence and important data have been captured!' 'I Love Pakistan, ' they wrote in the same tweet.

The 62-year-old actor, meanwhile, has alerted the microblogging site about the incident.

Several tweets in Turkish appeared on Madhav's account.
