Final Fantasy XV Was Built From Zero, Director Reveals

As we near master submission, the development team is squeezing out every available second to complete the game and we ask for you to wait just a bit longer, but we really developed this edition from the ground just for you PC gamers, as a result, Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition has advanced a generation.

Director Hajime Tabata addressed the Steam gaming community and stated that Final Fantasy XV was built from zero, without using any elements from the console versions of the game. And from today, players can check out if their PC is up to the requirements of the game, as Square Enix has released a benchmark tool that scans your equipment and concludes what level of performance you can expect if you run the game on your computer. To answer this question, Square Enix has rolled out the Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition Benchmark tool. Customers who preorder on Steam will receive in-game outfits based on the RPG's Episodes featuring Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis; customers who preorder on Origin will receive stickers for the Regalia, the party's vehicle; and customers who preorder on the Windows Store will receive a Battle Upgrade pack. However, you can already pre-order the game and receive various digital bonuses.

Getting the game from Steam will give players the Fashion Collection pack, which includes t-shirts for Noctis that grant him different buffs. Finally, pre-ordering from the Microsoft Store will get you the FFXV Powerup pack containing a sleek sword called the Dodanuki that reduces enemy defense with each slash. As a reminder Mobius Final Fantasy was released in 2015 on mobile devices and 2016 on PC.
