Assassin's Creed Origins' undead pharaohs expansion gets thrilling launch trailer

Set four years after the events of Assassin's Creed Origins, you'll continue to play as the game's main protagonist, Bayek, as he investigates a curse that has brought the dead back to life. Bayek will be heading towards the all-new Thebes region. "And as he works to quell the spirits of each restless pharaoh, Bayek finds his way into their individual afterlives, which exist as big, self-contained open worlds connected to portals in their tombs". As with any Assassin's Creed content, the storyline is a key component and this one unleashes the undead on the streets of ancient Egypt.

Shadows of the Pharaohs mark the biggest threat from the otherside-who first appear within a limited-time window; and by way of more powerful reincarnations thereafter.

The DLC sees the level cap raised to 55, introduces new crafting levels, resources and abilities and makes new outfits and gear, including rare and legendary weapons - all themed around classic Egyptian mythology - available for the taking. The second expansion will be out tomorrow, standalone or as part of the Season Pass. GIve the launch trailer a watch below.

[Update] A launch trailer has also been released, you can find it below. Are you looking forward to the new expansion?
