Asus ZenFone 4 Android 8.0 Oreo Update Now Rolling Out

Asus ZenFone 4 Android 8.0 Oreo Update Now Rolling Out

Asus announced the ZenFone 5 series at Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC) late last month. Now reports have hinted at a possible 4th model called the ZenFone 5 Max. However, now talks of a fourth device under this series is going on. The company was also expected to showcase the Zenfone 5 Max variant of the smartphone range at the event, which it never did.

Considering the devices revealed during MWC 2018 and the older lineup, it is possible that Asus will launch the device with 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage variants. Apart from these, nothing else has been revealed by the Geekbench listing. After making the rounds of Wi-Fi Alliance where it received its certification, the ZenFone 5 Max was recently spotted at Geekbench. Now it is turn of ZenFone 4 Pro to get the taste of latest flavor of Android.

According to the specifications on Geekbench, the phone will pack 4 GB RAM along with an octa-core Qualcomm SoC with CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz. The idea here is to meet cleaner and friendlier UI design including in settings menu. The phone would sport a 5.7 Inch fullHD+ display with full HD resolution.

The Android Oreo update is being pushed out in stages so it might take a while before it reaches your device. The customary screen notch is present too, along with a 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port.

Sadly, there is no any further information about the phone's camera and battery configuration revealed by the listing and we do not have any rumor or leak regarding the same. However, we could expect to see some more details about this phone in the coming weeks.
