John Goodman plays Rex Tillerson on 'SNL'

Trump's wild week made for a great cold opener on Saturday Night Live, which parodied an episode of Anderson Cooper 360 featuring a panel that covered the week's many notable firings.

However, the highlight of the cold open was the appearance of recently ousted secretary of state Rex Tillerson, played by actor John Goodman.

Tonight's guest host and SNL alumnus Bill Hader was also on as Anthony Scaramucci, who kept frustrating himself by making on-the-record comments right next to Fred Armisen's Michael Wolff.

Watch the clip below!

When asked how he felt about being apparently "fired by a tweet" from Trump, "Tillerson" appeared to grimace and tense up - shattering his water glass mid-sentence. Next day you get fired by a man who used to sell steaks in the mail, ' said Goodman's Tillerson as he broke a glass in his hand. "Nobody knows", Hader as Scaramucci said. "Trump made me do it", McKinnon's Sessions blurted out as Moffat's Anderson Cooper grilled Sessions about the firing of Federal Bureau of Investigation veteran Andrew McCabe in what was seen as a politically motivated act directed by Trump.

Continuing on to Tillerson, Cooper said that the former Secretary had been 'gracious about his exit'.

But when Moffat as Cooper appeared to start asking another question, Goodman interrupted him. Feels nice to say what I want.

Shedding a little bit of light on the future of the Trump administration, Scaramucci (who got his suit from Olive Garden, btw) suggested that it was Jared Kushner who was up for elimination next.

But the real life Mooch was all laughs, taking to his Twitter to add: 'Wait?!
