Lingard scores as England pip Holland

WEST HAM UNITED'S Manuel Lanzini scored his first global goal for Argentina during a comfortable 2-0 victory over Italy at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, while Hammers teammate, Angelo Ogbonna, was an unused substitute for the Italians.

The 25-year-old has been in superb form for the Red Devils and has scored eight goals and made four assists in the Premier League for Mourinho's men to help them up into second place in the top flight table.

Ninety England fans were arrested in Amsterdam on Friday, taking the total to over 100 after 25 were arrested on Thursday. These two will be relied upon for much of England's attacking, but the players between them bring a few more concerns.

"I heard some of the booing of the anthem, which obviously isn't acceptable", Southgate said.

"So, anything else that takes away from that performance for them would be a great shame".

Sadly, some of England's supporters did exactly that.
