Microsoft Plans "Biggest E3 Showing Ever"

The Verge attributed the new information to "sources familiar with the company", and while Ybarra's tweet doesn't explicitly mean that the avatars aren't coming in April, it does debunk the idea that a firm release date has been set.

Microsoft has announced a number of venue changes for E3 2018 as it gears up for what it's trumpeting as the company's 'biggest showing ever'.

How could Microsoft possibly out-do previous E3 conferences, where it introduced the Xbox One S and Xbox One X?

The new Avatars are much more customisable than the current models, featuring more body types, props and costumes. Microsoft has been enjoying that Sunday timeslot for years now and seems to enjoy kicking off E3.

This includes a stop at the Microsoft Theatre in the heart of Los Angeles, where the Xbox One manufacturer will host its annual Media Briefing, which you can expect will be jam-packed full of new game reveals and probably a few stage demos thrown in for good measure.

Additionally, the company will have a new Mixer booth on the show floor at the Los Angeles Convention Center, where fans will be able to play and stream new games throughout the entirety of the show. Xbox will once again have that big presence at E3 2018, and they're going to make it even bigger.

Microsoft has chose to take over the bulk of its E3 2018 presence to the Microsoft Theater across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center (where E3 2018 will be held) in collaboration with the organizers of E3, the Entertainment Software Association.

Xbox's much-anticipated new avatar designs will finally launch next month according to a new report.
