Nice Tuesday, Rain and Snow later in the week

Otherwise, today is going to be cold and blustery. 2 separate storm systems are on their way to Northern California this week, and are expected to result in heavy rain and snow across the region.

COLD THROUGH WEDNESDAY: Unseasonably cool for the first half of the week.

Skies will be mostly cloudy outside of any snow showers, with lows falling into the low and middle 20s. Lows will be in the 20s Tuesday morning, and only low-mid 30s Tuesday afternoon. Highs upper 40s inland, near 50 at the coast. We will see a break in the rain around daybreak before another round of showers moves in during the afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny. Overnight will be freezing cold, with low temperatures around 26 degrees, which may lead to some slick spots on area surfaces. Tuesday and Wednesday's daytime highs will only be near 60, although both will be sunny days.

A spring fever watch is in store for the rest of the week and the weekend. Finally temperatures turn around heading into the weekend. But it looks like mild air will be able to nudge its way into the Ozarks. Temperatures are held near 40 with plenty of areas staying in the 30s. However, a little rain may pass through on Friday.

The Cascades will see snow showers, which is some good news for skiers and snowboarders! That results in gusty winds and temperatures in the 40s for the morning commute. There will be a front nearby Saturday into Sunday, but it looks like we'll remain south of it most of the time and this should allow temperatures to warm into the 70s.
