OPPO R15 & R15 Dream Mirror Edition Are Now Official

The appearance as well showcases the iPhone X-ish notch that makes the display carry a 19:9 aspect ratio. The R15 Dream Mirror Edition, on the other hand, runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and an Adreno 512 GPU. For selfies, the smartphone offers a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

There have been plenty of rumors suggesting that OnePlus 6 could sport an iPhone X-like design, complete with the display notch, and it goes without saying that it could borrow some design cues from Oppo R15 (since OnePlus and Oppo are owned by the same company). Both devices carry a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and come with Android 8.1 Oreo (with OPPO's ColorOS 5.0 skin) out of the box. The phone is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internals storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. As for the device itself, the R15 features a 6.28-inch OLED panel with a 19:9 FHD+ resolution and 90% screen-to-body ratio, and the device is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio P60. It has 128GB storage and a 3,450 mAh battery with VOOC charging support.

Oppo has finally announced the launch of its latest flagship devices, the Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition, in China. The standard Oppo R15 features a 16MP primary sensor, followed by a 5MP secondary sensor.

The OPPO R15 carries a pricing of 2,999 Yuan ('$473) in China. So, I have no hope of seeing Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition.

Chinese mobile brand Oppo is one of the world's largest smartphone makers, even if you can't find them in South Africa and the USA. The dual cameras offer features like bokeh effect, AI scene recognition, HDR and EIS. The glass variant of the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition comes in Red, and is priced at 3,299 Yuan ($520), while the Ceramic Black Edition of the phone has a price tag of 3,499 Yuan ($552).

The R15 is fueled by VOOC fast charging enabled 3,450mAh battery. 16 (f/1.7 aperture, Sony's IMX519 sensor, 1.22um pixel size) and 5-megapixel (f/2.2 aperture) snappers sit on the back of the OPPO R15, while you will find 16 (same camera as in the OPPO R15) and 20-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) cameras on the back of the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition.

The Oppo R15 will be available in White, Red and Purple colour options, while the Dream Mirror Edition is available in Mirror Red, Black colour options. It measures 155.10 x 75.20 x 7.40 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 175.00 grams.
