Steph Curry's 30th Birthday Party Was LIT AF!

"I'm very confident in where we're heading", said Golden State Coach Steve Kerr, "but we're in the middle of a tough stretch".

The Warriors played without Steph Curry, who was kept off the team's road trip to rest his injured right ankle.

This week's NBA Sundays presented by NBA 2K18 prime time game features a Western Conference match-up, with the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors travelling to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. All of these videos can be found on the Warriors Report on YouTube.

With a month until the playoffs, a rash of injuries has forced Golden State to adjust on the fly.

The four-time NBA All-Star has made a huge difference in his first season in Minnesota, as the Timberwolves have already won seven more games than previous year. With Butler sidelined, the Timberwolves offense flows through Towns, the former No. 1 draft pick who was a first-time All-Star this season.

Stephen Curry only turns 30 once, and technically, the Golden State Warriors superstar won't turn the big 3-0 until March 14.

The Timberwolves rank third in second chance points per game (13.9) while the Warriors rank last in second chance points allowed per game (13.9).

Durant mentioned on Sunday that "it's weird" without Curry, which seems pretty logical - if your star teammate is out, everything from the defense thrown at you to shot selection changes.

Cook had only four points in 29 minutes.

I don't know the exact correlation between championship games played and win probability, however it is impossible to ignore the fact the Warriors know how to win it all.

With the Warriors trailing by seven midway through the fourth quarter, Durant got aggressive, powering his team within 104-103 with 2:08 left. Paul added 12 assists, as the Rockets recovered from a setback at Toronto on Friday night that resulted in the conclusion of their 17-game winning streak.

Over the past five years, as he averaged 78.8 games, Curry hushed doubts about those balky ankles. LaVine and Bobby Portis scored 21 points apiece as Chicago overcame a career-high 38-point performance by Taurean Prince.
