Truck overturns in Panhandle, spilling 60000 pounds of veer

On the Facebook page of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, several people who said they were truck drivers questioned the actual weight of the beer spilled.

A SC man is being blamed - or credited - with spilling 60,000 pounds of Busch Beer on a Florida interstate, prompting countless "open container", "happy hour" and "alcohol-involved accident" puns on social media. He was treated for minor injuries at the scene and is charged with careless driving.

Troopers say Powell failed to maintain his lane, hitting the shoulder of the road which caused the tractor-trailer to overturn.


A semi spilling 60,000 pounds of cans onto a Florida highway prompted a hilarious tweet by Busch beer.

Powell suffered minor injuries in the crash but was not hospitalized for his injuries.
