This season's Premier League crown represents a third in City colours for Aguero, having sealed the title on the final day of the 2011-12 and 2013-14 campaigns against Queens Park Rangers and West Ham respectively.

With their triumph has come plenty of congratulations, none so more than from Etisalat, a UAE telecommunications operator.

Manchester City's Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero reacts during the English FA Cup fifth round football match between Wigan Athletic and Manchester City at the DW Stadium in Wigan, northwest England, on February 19, 2018.

"If you're feeling like a victor, stomp your feet!"

In a minute-long film some may find cringeworthy, City players including Sergio Aguero and Phil Foden are seen celebrating on the pitch after the title-clinching game.

Gabriel Jesus, 21, will now be tasked with being City's main attacking threat for the rest of the season as the Brazilian has returned from his own knee injury and has scored three goals in his last five games.

Argentina's first match of the tournament is against Iceland on June 16. He didn't give a timescale for his return, saying only he is "fully motivated to get back soon to the field".

Argentina are one of the favourites to be crowned world champions, after losing in the final to Germany four years ago, and Agüero will be a key figure alongside Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain's Angel Di María.
