Alexander Downer sparks odds to crash for royal baby's name

Prince William and Kate's royal baby has had a new set of visitors!

Two days after the birth of his child, William attended Westminster Abbey for the traditional ANZAC Day service to honour New Zealand and Australia's war dead. William Hill's Rupert Adams said they had a busy day with bets totally nearly £100,000 placed by punters, with the 2-1 favourite Arthur and second place James 4-1, best backed.

He then met Sir Jerry Mateparae, New Zealand's high commissioner to the UK.

He said they are "in good form, luckily", adding: "Sleeping's going reasonably well so far, so he's behaving himself which is good news".

William and Duchess Kate's bundle of joy was born in London's St. Mary's Hospital, the same hospital where siblings Goerge, 4, and Charlotte, 2, were born, at 11:01 a.m. local time on April 23.

Prince William doesn't appear too exhausted following the birth of his third child.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs", Kensington Palace announce the birth in a statement.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just welcomed their third child earlier this week, and fans are anxiously waiting to hear what name they have chosen. When Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born, Kensington Palace waited two days to announce their names, so today should be the day for the baby. Carole was also on hand to help with the school run as she was pictured collecting Prince George, four, from school. Will Arthur pan out to be the new royal baby's first name when William and Kate reveal their pick or will one of the other supposed contenders win out? News, the infant's official title will be "His Royal Highness Prince [name] of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".
