Arsene Wenger Rips Premier League Over VAR Decision

The result ended the Magpies' run of 10 successive league losses to Arsene Wenger's side and moved them to 41 points in the table, taking it to the brink of survival.

Arsenal could act on manager Arsene Wenger over their dwindling attendances. They're away form is putrid to the point of record-breakingly horrid, and on current form it seems only a matter of time before they are overtaken by Burnley in sixth place. "They had the belief that we could score and we did it and after you could see we were suffering sometimes as it's a very good team so to beat a team like this is very impressive".

To that end, they could do an terrible lot worse than look to the man that orchestrated their defeat on Sunday.

INCIDENTS: Premier League match between Newcastle United and Arsenal, held at St James' Park in Newcastle.

It seems it has taken this disappointing run for the manager to recognise issues at Arsenal that have always been apparent to fans and pundits alike.

On Sunday, April 15, Arsenal striker Pierre Aubameyang experienced one of his lowest moments on a football pitch when he was snubbed by Newcastle United star Matt Ritchie.

"He [Benitez] is exactly what Arsenal need", Murphy told talkSPORT. We collectively made a number of mistakes at the same time which led to their goal, and we devalued our work during the game with a situation like that.

'People in England are conscious of the fact that experience in the Premier League is important and, what is more, you go to other competitions and other leagues and win as well.

The second half was a much tighter affair but it was the Magpies who got the victor in the 68th minute when Matt Ricthie calmly slotted home from close range to seal all three points for Rafael Benítez's men. It's not like you're sat there thinking: "Who can they bring on here?"

I can see Man Utd winning here, but I've never seen anything like their performance on Sunday against West Brom at the highest level.
