Counterfeit Kylie Jenner Cosmetic Products Test Positive for Poop

Officers discovered $700,000 in counterfeit luxury cosmetics being sold for a major discount, some of which tested positive for a "high level of bacterias and animal feces", according to ABC 7 in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles police confirmed they confiscated $700,000 worth of bootleg cosmetics containing animal feces, human waste and bacteria. "The best price is not always the best deal!"

The makeup being sold as counterfeit included brands such as Anastasia, MAC and Kylie - the cosmetics line of the reality TV star Kylie Jenner. The LAPD made a similar raid in February after customers complained of getting rashes and bumps from using counterfeit makeup. Even though numerous products looked exactly like their genuine counterparts, they tested positive for poop, bacteria and other products that definitely don't belong on a person's face. As for the bogus products, they are made where contaminants are rampant.

The LAPD detective also said that companies must meet health and safety standards, which are often expensive. Ishitani said the only way some people find out is when they open the product, which isn't allowed at the businesses in Santee Alley.

"SO GROSS! Never buy counterfeit products!"

Out of the 21 businesses raided and cited, six of the owners were arrested while the rest received cease-and-desist orders.
