Dark Souls Remastered Network Test will go ahead on Switch

The game and its amiibo are now hitting sometime later this summer.

Everything else (PC, PS4, Xbox One) is still on target for May 25, it's just Switch that's been moved back.

The Nintendo switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered has been delayed from its May 25, 2018 release schedule.

Dark Souls Remastered Release Date

The release date for the Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered has been pushed back to this summer. And what makes the delay particularly curious is the fact that the Switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered was playable at PAX East earlier this month and everything - even Blightown - appeared to be in working order.

Switch owners wanting to experience From Software's classic on a Nintendo console are going to have to wait a little longer... Bandai Namco promises that the delay is in order to ensure that the developers can really polish the switch release of the legendary game. Bandai Namco says that the game will allow up to six players to join online to help, or hurt, each other throughout their quest.

About BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe S.A.S. Thankfully, the Dark Souls Twitter account has put our fears to bed.
