Fortnite Down for Maintenance on All Platforms, Epic Working on Fix

The popular battle royale title's server troubles started late last night with players reporting as-1041 error messages which prevented them from logging in. The game has been suffering server issues for well over a day now which has made it very hard for players to access the game.

Soon after the version 3.5 patch rolled out, however, many Fortnite players found that they were unable to access the game.

To say thank you to fans for being "awesome and patient", Epic is offering Battle Royale players a free back bling that can be obtained from the in-game store now. The game developer is saying that the login issues are directly related to a database error and they are now working a hotfix.

Next, Replay Mode, which was originally shown off at GDC 2018, is also live on PC and console (sorry mobile players), complete with "a suite of cinematic settings [that means] you can now capture your most memorable moments, highlights and cinematics".

The game came back online during the afternoon, although many players still experienced login issues.

It suggests that after being denied their favourite game to play, the gamers simply put down their joypads and picked up their - well, you get the idea.
