God of War Patch 1.12 Releases; Fixes Small Text Issues

Last week was a big one for Sony, as we saw the release of two PS4 exclusive games, which are dominating the United Kingdom charts as expected. Though it is a continuation of the series' story, picking up after the events of "God of War 3", the game is a stark contrast to older entries, focusing on familial bonds and personal growth over gratuity and fetishized violence. The game may have sold even more copies if digital sales were counted.

Most of the things in the God of War Prototype Video have found application in the final game. In this regards, the studio was nothing but successful: we proclaimed God of War as one of the best games of this console generation, and gave it a rare flawless score - an opinion in line with the majority of critics.

The game managed to be number 1 in the main charts dropping Far Cry 5 to the number 2 position. This has dethroned Yakuza Kiwami, a current-generation remake of the original Yakuza, bringing the 2005 title straight into 2017.

During a launch live stream, PlayStation has revealed a prototype version of God of War that was submitted to Sony in the effort to have the green light on the project before embarking on the quest of properly build it. You'll also benefit from an increase in graphics, that bumps up the frame-rate in performance mode for anyone wanting a little something extra out of their PS4 Pro consoles.
