Heat end Sixers' streak to tie series at 1-1

While the 36-year-old is still several thousand points away from the top of the list - LeBron James holds the top spot with almost 6,200 playoff points - moving to the 10th spot on the list is certainly impressive.

Goran Dragic scored 20 points and James Johnson added 18 points for the Heat.

"I just came in with an aggressive approach", Wade said afterwards.

"I love the stage".

"The second quarter definitely is where they punched us in the mouth and we didn't respond the right way", the rookie said post-game.

Embiid will have a few days to continue his recovery, as Game 3 will be played Thursday at American Airlines Arena in Miami.

The Sixers had started confidently, building a seven-point cushion to lead 29-22 at the end of the first quarter.

The Sixers trailed the Heat at halftime, 60-56, but outscored the Heat by 31 in the game's second half.

Philadelphia rallied relentlessly and it looked ominous for Miami as the Sixers closed the gap to two points at 98-96.

Ilyasova finished with 10 points on 4-for-4 shooting and grabbed six rebounds in the third quarter. "He [Embiid] just wants to play basketball, he wants to be with his team, he wants to play in front of the fans and he wants to see this through".

After the loss, 76ers coach Brett Brown seemed understanding of Embiid's emotions. And when he's not able to do that, he gets frustrated.
