Instagram now lets you upload photos and videos in-batch to Stories

Users can still edit their photos and videos individually. Users can order photos as they wish and can upload up to ten at a time. And don't worry, you'll still be able to edit and preview them before uploading.

Prior to this, users could only upload one photo or video at a time, which for those who are avid posters of Stories means having to go back and forth to the upload screen multiple times. Well now, Instagram is improving Stories by allowing users to upload multiple photos and videos to Instagram Stories at once. Instagram says that it is only able to only work on one request from a user at a time and that it may take up to 48 hours to collect the data before an email is sent. Once the process is completed, you will be provided with a link on the email address you entered.

Alongside the new feature, Instagram has also added another tweak in Stories. Just like Facebook's Data Download tool, users can export all the content including photos, archived Stories, profile information, comments and more. To select multiple images or videos simultaneously, tap on the select multiple icon, and then choose up to 10 files from your gallery. This new tool makes it easier to include a location sticker to an Instagram Story.

Instagram Stories is the dominant force among the quick-sharing photo services.

The new update is available for Android starting today and will be rolling out to iOS users in the coming weeks.

Previously, the Menlo Park-based company had introduced "Bokeh" effect Focus filter for Instagram stories.
