Michigan LB Elysee Mbem-Bosse Posts Threatening Twitter Rant, Tags Jim Harbaugh

A former MI player sent a series of troubling tweets over the weekend that may have been threatening in nature toward Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh.

In one of the since-deleted tweets, Mbem-Bosse posted, "Michigan is open carry". And while we still don't know what Mbem-Bosse is referring to, we hope everything is okay. At one point, Mbem-Bosse tagged Harbaugh's Twitter handle. "Let's not forget." and "Let's not have a murder case on your hands".

A published report by Deadspin on Tuesday showed a series of cryptic, expletive-filled messages - captured via screenshot and later posted on Reddit - from the Twitter account that purportedly belongs to someone who has played for MI football.

Harbaugh has not responded publicly about Mbem-Bosse's messages.

It's unclear exactly what linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse was so angry about, but it would appear he was suspended by the MI football team at some point last season. The former linebacker allegedly revealed he had been suspended after a family visit.

A former three-star recruit who signed with MI in 2016, Mbem-Bosse contributed as a backup and on special teams during his first two seasons.
