However, a major differentiating factor here will be the aspect ratio of 18:9.

We're still not entirely sure exactly when Motorola will officially unveil the 2018 G6 series, but it should be soon - possibly later this month, or early May - since a complete set of renders for all three expected models has been posted online, courtesy of Twitter user Ishan Agarwal. While we exclusively leaked the design of all the phones in the series - Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play - weeks ahead of the official launch, we have spotted one of the phones in Geekbench's listing. We have seen a bunch of renders of the phones in the past that give a pretty good idea of what to expect on the design front. The back of the device shows the circular single rear camera with LED flash.

Next we have the Moto G6 Plus which, at a glance, looks identical to the standard G6. It will have a dual-lens camera on the rear and a fingerprint sensor on the front. The specs are in line with past rumours about the G6 Play so it's fairly certain these are final. The highlight of the G6 Play will be the fingerprint scanner placement; It's housed inside the Motorola dimple at the back, which is nothing new, but manufacturers have long forgotten this.

Though there is no mention of the camera MP count, reliable reports have indicated that the Moto G6 will come with dual 12MP + 5MP primary camera setup and a 16MP front-facing camera.

All three phones are expected to be affordable midrangers, with the G6 sporting a Snapdragon 450 chip, 3 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery; the G6 Play would be even more affordable with a Snapdragon 430 processor and a larger 4,000 mAh cell; and the G6 Plus would be the most powerful of the three, with a Snapdragon 630 SoC instead. Although the Moto G6 Plus appears to be packing 4GB of RAM in the listing, there could be a variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The leaked image has not revealed anything about the operating system but it is expected to run on Android Oreo out of the box. Not much else is known about the Plus model as yet. As the company has started sending media invites for an event in Brazil scheduled on April 19.
