SAN DIEGO- It's been 20 years since Lauryn Hill dropped her album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and she's celebrating with a national tour, the artist announced Tuesday. The tour kicks off July 5 with a show at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and includes performances in Miami, Toronto, Portland, New Orleans, Atlanta, and more.

Tickets for most shows go on sale April 20th at 10 a.m. local time. Complete information is available via Ticketmaster.

Though not an official tour per say, the string of concert dates are being promoted as "Ms. Lauryn Hill Performing The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill". She broke records for first-week sales by a woman, her lead single "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" went number one on the Billboard charts and the album won five Grammys in one night. Over the past two decades, the record has been canonized as a genre-bending modern day classic of hip-hop and R&B.

According to Pitchfork, the 42-year-old will perform the album live and in its entirety. She'll performing the album in full on the road.
