OnePlus 6 to launch in India soon, Amazon opens 'notify me' registrations

OnePlus is leaving no stone unturned in building the hype train for its forthcoming OnePlus 6 smartphone.

The OnePlus 6 will be the latest from OnePlus, a company that has impressed in the past for its devices with great specs at lower prices.

OnePlus 6 will be the first OnePlus device with water-resistant built-in, and also the most expensive smartphone the company has ever launched. This means that the phone could have wireless charging support, something that's becoming more and more common in flagship smartphones.

With an image shared on social media, OnePlus hinted that the OnePlus 6 will come with ceramic back cover, something that may make it look significantly plush and polished compared to phones that use brushed aluminium finish.

Fans of OnePlus are probably eagerly awaiting news about when the new flagship from the China-based company would launch.

As per the official teasers, OnePlus 6 is coming with several upgrades both in terms of design and also internal hardware.

Even if the company go with the ceramic shell for OnePlus 6, it can still be charged wirelessly through the custom-made dock. And if not the ceramic, the OnePlus 6 could come with the glass back, similar to the iPhone X and Galaxy S9+.

Having said that, we should wait to comprehend which stuff that the OnePlus 6 will comprise. The phone is also going to see the dual camera module moving to the middle of the rear cover, compared to top left where it was in the OnePlus 5T, a fingerprint sensor that is squarish instead of round. Additionally, it will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, combined with around 8GB of RAM along with 256GB in built storage. The phone will be sold exclusively through Amazon India store. For those in the dark, this collaboration is OnePlus' second such partnership with Disney India and earlier launched the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition in December 2017.
