Police arrest man in connection to fatal Ewa Beach shooting

Petrica Muntean was shot by Santa Ana police on May 14, 2013.

At Rhode Island and Atlantic avenues, Nolasco and her passenger, 29-year-old Tiffany Williams also of the Bronx, exited the vehicle and pulled the man from his auto, assaulting him while was on the ground, Fair said.

They had also claimed that they informed the police control room about the ruckus but were asked to ensure that the drunkards do not leave the spot until police back up arrived. He refused to get out of the vehicle and took off, leading police on a chase that ended when he lost control of the stolen Toyota Camry and crashed, prosecutors said.

He says Aleku's statement is questionable because he reported the gun loss to police at mid night, about two hours after the incident.

Muntean sustained a gunshot wound to the wrist.

One Millville police officer and two Winslow Township officers were involved in the shooting, the prosecutor's office said. She faces a $20,000 fine and four years, three months in prison.

Officers also charged Rockett with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, while LeFevers was charged with trafficking meth. Officers also charged him with an outstanding warrant for assault on a female, the release said.

According to an arrest report, the events took place on April 13, just after 4 p.m., at the intersection of Conestoga Parkway and Keystone Crossroads. Williams said he had smoked marijuana earlier but did not have any with him.
