Manchester City ended their three-match losing run with a convincing win over Tottenham at Wembley Stadium.

'He's a big player, so hopefully he can keep scoring for us.

The Egyptian is not only on course for winning the Golden Boot in the Premier League, but he is still in the running to claim the Golden Shoe at the end of the season, trailing only Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo by two goals.

"He [Salah] told me he was gonna claim all of them [the goals]", Henderson told the BT after the game.

"It's normal that he was a little bit disappointed [by the response] because Harry and all our players have Twitter, Instagram and all those things and while Tottenham fans will have supported him, fans of other clubs will have killed him".

Kane now trails Salah, who hit the 30-mark on Saturday, by five goals. "He's got to keep going and try to get as many as he can". "We need to show ourselves that we can compete".

"We need to be consistent during the whole season and be the best team like Manchester City is doing today".

Tottenham successfully lobbied the Football Association to have a Christian Eriksen goal credited to Harry Kane, who was publicly stumping very hard for the idea that he did in fact get the final touch on the goal in question.

"It gives some people a chance to put him down", said Alli. To be honest, he touched it so it's his goal and every striker would and should claim it if it is their goal. He's just got to keep it going, with his work rate, his movement off the ball, how strong he is.

"I am happy to have this feeling, you know".

Salah, though, is in great form at the moment, and one should not be surprised if the former Chelsea star finds the net five or six more times for Liverpool in their remaining games of the season in the Premier League.
