SoulCalibur VI Adds Stalwart Knight Siegfried to its Growing Roster

Series veteran Siegfried has joined the SoulCalibur VI roster, and yes, he's still swinging that huge sword around without even considering the long term wrist injury consequences.

According to the Soul Calibur 6 Siegfried trailer his fighting style is self-taught and his weapon name is Requiem.

Siegfried is basically the antithesis of Nightmare, and he comes into battle wielding his giant sword, Zweihander.

What other classic SoulCalibur characters would you like to see return in the new game? In Soulcalibur VI, Siegfried awakens to find himself freed from the influence of Soul Edge, the demonic sword that corrupts the minds of men and seeks to feed its neverending bloodlust. No official release date has been announced yet, but Bandai Namco promises it will be out in 2018. After falling in combat as Nightmare to Kilik and his comrades, Siegfried is haunted by memories of murdering his father and the atrocities he committed as Nightmare. Oh, and The Witcher series' Geralt will also be a guest character (check him out in action here) - this fight's going to get nasty! And this outing will be the first Soulcalibur to release on PC.

Siegfried is the tenth character to be confirmed from Soulcalibur 6.

SoulCalibur VI has never looked more dynamic or intense with eye popping graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4.
