The Giants Control The Draft With The Second Overall Pick

The Buffalo Bills are among those teams and could potentially make a #Trade with one or more of those up in the top five. The Patriots made several moves this offseason including shipping wideout Brandin Cooks to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a first-round pick in 2018, giving them two selections in the first round for the third time since Bill Belichick became head coach in 2000.

Twitter is making a small but creative change to this year's NFL Draft coverage. So have many teams below the top five. You're getting an every-down starter and a player who brings intangibles and leadership and work ethic that you rarely find in your most talented player on the football team.

The Jets at No. 3 are clearly in the market for a quarterback after their previous trade up from No. 6 with the Colts, so figure another quarterback - Darnold, Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield or maybe UCLA's Josh Rosen - goes there.

That makes the Giants' decision at No. 2 crucial. However, it would require two teams being on board.

Barkley said he already knows what his first big purchase will be after signing his rookie deal.

There hasn't been much talk about the Bills holding an interest in moving into the second overall spot, especially with it likely requiring them to move several high draft picks to get that to that position.

Per Chris Wesseling of NFL.com, a trade might just be a pipe dream as it is highly unlikely for the deal to happen prior to the NFL Draft on Thursday night or while the Giants are on the clock. In exchange, the Bills receive the #giants' second overall pick. The Bills now have nine draft picks which are more than enough capital to entice the Giants to consider trading down.
