WR prospect Antonio Callaway tested positive for marijuana at combine

Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway is considered one of the National Football League draft's top talents at his position.

If former Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway didn't have enough questions surrounding him entering the NFL Draft after being suspended by the Gators for the entirety of the 2017 season, he certainly has more now after an alleged positive drug test.

According to Schefter and the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Callaway's test sample was "diluted".

A diluted sample is treated as a positive test result.

Kawa did not represent Callaway during the combine; he was hired two weeks ago.

In December 2015, a female Florida student accused Callaway of sexually assaulting her, but a Title IX hearing officer cleared him of wrongdoing in August 2016. Callaway was found "not responsible" in that hearing - which was overseen by a judge who also happened to be a booster for the Florida athletics program.

Callaway has a checkered past during his time at Florida, where he excelled as the team's leading receiver and punt returner thanks in part to his outstanding speed and elusiveness. According to the ruling Callaway claimed that he was "so stoned I had no interest in having sex with anyone".

In 2017, Callaway was involved in a credit card fraud scheme that left him and six of his teammates suspended amidst 62 felony complaints.

Based on this latest information, we'll have to see if Callaway gets drafted at all this week.

"I mean, they already know I'm a good athlete". I'm past that. I don't dwell on it or nothing. He told reporters at the combine he's learned from past mistakes, saying "I grew. Got a lovely girl [his daughter, Aulani, was born in February] to look after, so I ain't got no choice but to be a man".
