Andre 3000 Just Surprise Dropped Two New Solo Tracks

André 3000 just released two new songs for Mother's Day.

The often-reclusive André 3000 surprised his fans on Sunday (May 13), when he delivered two new tracks in the form of "Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)" and "Look Ma No Hands". Cruising in at over 17 minutes, the cut features a meandering bass clarinet solo played by 3K over softly-tickled piano chords from James Blake.

Listen to both tracks below.

A photo of handwritten lyrics for "Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)" is met with a profound caption from the musician, who reflected on the holiday and the inspiration behind the song. He has shared a text message conversation which occurred the day before she passed away. André's mother Sharon Benjamin-Hodo died one day after his birthday in 2013. According to Pitchfork, a representative confirmed that "Me&My" was written before his parents died, "but was recorded three years ago (after both parents passed)" and "Look Ma No Hands" was recorded late last year.

Andre also seems to have caught the Instagram bug, finally joining the social media service with a burst of posts continuing the Mother's Day celebration.
