And then everything reached to another level after Reynolds took off the mask and shocked the crowd.

After finishing a rendition of "Tomorrow" from the 1977 musical Annie, the singer took off his mythical creature to reveal that it was none other than Deadpool 2's Ryan Reynolds. "'I will have Jose's head for this", screams Deadpool after spotting Juan Mata and Alexis Sanchez, before ruing: "When you make a sequel you've to double down on your promotions or you just get buried by Infinity War".

The program focuses on the stars' talents by hiding their identities behind a mask while people try to guess who's singing. Another later confesses that, before the mask was removed, she thought the man singing was Donald Trump. When asked if he was nervous onstage, he replied, "Yes, absolutely".

The American actor was in the country to promote his upcoming film Deadpool 2, that also stars Kiwi actor Julian Dennison, when he made a decision to put in a surprise performance on the King of Mask Singer show. This was such a thrill. This was an unbelievable honor for me.

In the video available on the verified MBCentertainment YouTube channel, Reynolds can be seen beginning the episode with his song. "It's just the best".
