Honor 10 with Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor Launched in India at Rs. 32999

The Honor 10 launched in China last month, now it has gone global starting with the United Kingdom and India. However, the price of the new product from Huawei met all expectations.

There are dual cameras on the rear - 24MP + 16MP - both with a f/1.8 aperture.

As for launch offers, customers will get extra Rs. 5000 off over regular exchange value for all Honor and other select devices, 3000 off over regular exchange value for all other devices valid from 16th May to 18th May. Just like the Honor View 10, the Honor 10 has been priced aggressively and will cost 449 Euros in Europe and Rs 32,999 in India.

The new Honor 10 will be competing with the Motorola Moto Z2 Force, soon to be launched OnePlus 6 and Apple iPhone 6s Plus, among others. The Phantom Blue color features an Aurora Glass design, similar to the Huawei P20 Pro.

The screen bears an 86.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, which provides an excellent viewing experience.

The new Honor 10 brings powerful hardware, an AI chip for automated camera functions, and a beautifully crafted body to the mid-range segment, and that's great - but if you've been keeping an eye on recent phone launches, you'll notice that it's nearly identical to the Huawei P20 - and that's a good thing. The smartphone is powered by a 2.4 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. Unlike the Honor View 10, the Honor 10 misses out on the micro SD card slot. On the front, it has a 24MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and AI beautification. The main camera is capable of recording native 4k videos at 30fps and can also shoot slow-motion 720p videos at 960fps. The front-facing camera also enables the Face Unlock feature. The fast-charging 3,400mAh battery is also identical. Unlike the Chinese variant of the smartphone, the variant launched in India ships with Google services. There is also an Ultrasonic Under Glass fingerprint sensor on the home button It measures 149.6×71.2×7.7mm and weighs is 153 grams.

Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.

The Honor 10 may as well be one of the cheapest flagships money can buy.
