Leaked press render of the Moto Z3 Play confirms side fingerprint sensor

Curiously, the render also shows a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, instead of the rear placement on most devices with tiny bezels. The resolution of that display will come in at 2560 x 1440, with an aspect ratio of 18:9, similar to a lot of other 2018 flagships. The Moto E5, Moto E5 Play and Moto E5 Pluswere also introduced last month, on the same day that the G6 line was announced. The slightly thicker bottom chin now houses the Motorola branding. Moto Hub is a key destination that provides easy access and availability of all Motorola products to customers; where they will be able to experience the entire portfolio of Motorola devices at convenient locations including the online exclusive devices like the popular moto e4 plus and moto g5s plus, apart from the newly launched moto x4 and moto z2 force.

The Moto E5 Play will be sold in the USA as a prepaid handset at Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless (as Moto E5 Cruise), Verizon Wireless, and Virgin Mobile. The hands-on images revealed that there isn't a fingerprint scanner on the front or the rear. The Z3 Play will apparently be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, 4GB of RAM, and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.

Speaking of Moto Mods, an image of the Moto Z3 shows what looks to be a "5G" mod. There's also the 16-pin connector which gives the device the ability to make use of the newer and older Moto Mods.

The smartphone packs horizontally aligned dual-camera setup with an LED flash. So far it seems as though there will be at least two Moto Z3 phones - the Moto Z3 and the Moto Z3 Play. While the volume rocker is placed on the right edge, the power button with textured finish is on the right edge. In terms of camera, there are rumors that the device will display 12MP + 8MP on the back, and a front sensor of 5 megapixels, its battery should be 3000mAh, which does not look like much, but still should last a long time thanks energy efficiency of the SD636.

Since the first major leak from Droid Life, we've learned a bit more about what we can expect from the Moto Z3 range.
