Lenovo Z5 Confirmed to Offer More Than 95% Screen-to-Body Ratio

A new teaser posted on Weibo gives us a peek into the design of the phone. The phone also houses the USB Type-C port on the bottom.

Lenovo Z5 might be the first smartphone with a screen-to-body ratio of 100%. From the looks of it, the Lenovo Z5 is depicted to have a metal chassis and possibly a meta back considering the placement of antenna bands on the edges. The antenna band on the left edge hints that phone will sport a metal unibody design or have a metal frame.

The post has been shared with a hashtag searching 'the new national leader revelation on Weibo.

In the new teaser, a screen-to-body ratio of more than 95 percent will likely happen.


According to Cheng, the company has achieved four technological breakthroughs and 18 patented technologies through the Lenovo Z5.

Phones come and phones go but we'll only remember the ones that proved to be the game changers in technology, won't we?

The way Lenovo appears to have situated the Z5, obviously this will be a top of the line mobile. Further, Lenovo Z5 is supposed to accompany a flip-up selfie camera and in-display earpiece. Even with the notches trending, we haven't seen any enhancement in screens of these display and to trigger this spark, enters Lenovo. The other-related rumors are that Z5 could accompany an in-display unique finger impression sensor, an innovation that Vivo has effectively used yet Samsung is as yet battling with. The could managed to remove the space usually taken by the camera, earpiece or the fingerprint scanner. The release date of the said phone will be this coming month, specifically on June 14. The company tried selling ZUK phones in China recently but it did not receive a good response from the masses.
