The Chinese smartphone maker and the famed company with a reputation as flagship killer, OnePlus has finally launched its next flagship OnePlus 6 which offers high-end specs and sleek design at nearly half the price of a flagship at an event in London. Kevlar Back: One word would be enough to describe the limited Marvel Avengers Edition and that is classy.

Fans won't have to wait long to get their hands on the OnePlus 6, which hits stores next Tuesday. Prices vary depending on the storage and RAM.

The scorching Mumbai summer heat didn't stop thousands of OnePlus fans from flocking to NSCI Dome on Thursday to witness the launch on the Chinese smartphone maker's flagship for the year - OnePlus 6.

The OnePlus 6 is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC which is clocked at 2.8Ghz and coupled with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics, 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. There's no indication that it will arrive in other countries, and there's no release date yet.

The OnPlus 6 will be available in Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Silk White colour options starting at ₹34,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage variant and go up to ₹39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage model. The dual cameras on the rear are now placed in the top middle position along with a dual LED flash. However, OnePlus 6 missed out on the opportunity to embed wireless charging capability, which is unfortunate but not a deal breaker.

The device runs a 3,300 mAh battery with quick charging, is dust- and water-resistant and comes with Android 8.1 based on the OnePlus Oxygen OS. OnePlus 6 will start its first sale on 21st May exclusive for Amazon Prime members, Pop-up stores in eight major cities from 21st to 22nd May and 1st open sale on Amazon on 22nd May.

OnePlus claims that this is the company's fastest and most sophisticated flagship yet. It features a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED display with 83.8% screen-to-body ratio, 1080 x 2280 pixel resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

As they did with the Kylo Ren case for the Star Wars OnePlus 5T OnePlus have created a custom phone case for this special edition of the phone. 16 and 20-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the phone, while a single 16-megapixel shooter sits on the phone's front side. For selfies, there is a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

With the OnePlus 6, the company has introduced Portrait Mode on the front camera as well as its rear. The device is capable of Slow Motion video recording at 480 fps.
