Police Find Mother Who Allegedly Stabbed One Daughter, Kidnapped Another

Oklahoma police looking for woman who burned her house and stabbed her 11-year-old daughter with a knife on Monday, before driving off with a 7-year old daughter.

According to the child, her mother "duct taped their hands, put socks in their mouths" and then Ahmad began stabbing the 11 year old, police said. The house was on fire, and Ahmad and the youngest girl were missing. She told them what happened, and police were called.

The 9-year-old girl was then able to go to a relative's home down the street to get help.

"History, which we encountered, was that seven year old child helped 9-year-old to run away from home", he told reporters on Monday, a police spokesman.

"She has been taken into custody and the 7 year old is with us", the Tulsa Police Department posted on Facebook.

An Amber Alert was issued for the 7-year-old girl. Law enforcement arrived and found the kitchen in flames and the 11-year-old girl with multiple stab wounds.

Hafza is described as having puffy hair in a ponytail wearing an ankle-length peach dress and painted gold bracelets.

Police said it was unclear where Ahmad may be headed but that she had lived in Tennessee and Texas in the past.

The injured girl remains in a critical condition in hospital and authorities say she was stabbed so many times they were unable to count the exact number of wounds.

Officials said Ahmad is described as black with curly black hair with gold streaks in it.

Anybody with information about Taheerah Ahmad's or Hafsa's whereabout is asked to immediately call police at 918-596-COPS (2677).

Cummings says he always felt his daughter was safe when she played over at Ahmad's and is still shocked that the news story rattling his town involves his neighbor.

According to sources, Ahmad bound and gagged her three daughters, aged 7, 9, and 11.
