Pusha-T Drops New Album 'Daytona' Featuring Kanye West and Rick Ross

"I like this other artwork, '" Pusha T explained in an interview with Angie Martinez.

Pusha T added that West had to pay $85,000 to license the photo to be used on Daytona.

At 1 a.m., Pusha T said he received a call from the 40-year-old Gold Digger rapper who "wasn't feeling it", and had already spent $85,000 to replace the original artwork with the controversial photo. "I'm really proud of what we put together", West tweeted on Tuesday. "'I'm going to pay for that'". It's something I know we can't even tackle with Trump. "He picked the photographer, I took these pictures, I was like, 'Yo, there are fresh.' I picked all of these pictures out, he had a little edit to it, how he wanted the actual grading of the picture to look".

West offered an expensive alternative, and Pusha initially said he didn't want to pay for the photo.

"I changed the album title from "King Push" to "DAYTONA" because I felt it didn't represent the overall message of this body of work", the rapper wrote on Twitter. The energy of the album is a bit chaotic, but it's all in place. The photo was taken secretly by one of Houston's family members in 2006 and ran in the National Enquirer the same year, as Houston struggled with drug addiction. And I like this other artwork.

The album cover image depicts Houston's bathroom in her Atlanta home.

Representatives for Houston's estate did not immediately return a request for comment. "She literally had no one she could trust around her. People who love you wouldn't do something like this".

The pieces feature black and white photos of the Virginia MC on the front and lyrics on the back; all designed by frequent Kanye collaborator Cali Thornhill DeWitt.

Daytona is the first album that comes out of West's Jacksonhole, Wyoming studio.
