Ronaldo and Carvajal back in Real training

Barcelona star Lionel Messi says it would be "terrible" to see his friend and former teammate Neymar signing for Real Madrid. "It would be awful (if Neymar moved to Madrid) because of everything he means to Barcelona", Messi was quoted as saying by Argentina's TyC Sports.

Asked if it would be similar to Luis Figo's switch back in 2000, Messi continued: 'It would be a very strong blow. He won the Champions League [and] La Liga [titles].

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has responded to rumours linking him with a possible move to LaLiga giants Real Madrid and the Premier League's Manchester United.

"I want to challenge myself and test myself against the best players in the world and there are not many people better than the likes of Ronaldo".

Ten days ahead of the Champions League final, Real Madrid received a timely boost on Tuesday as Cristiano Ronaldo took part in training after a lay off for a twisted ankle.

Alexander-Arnold has established himself as Liverpool's first-choice right-back following a breakthrough campaign at Anfield, and he will look to cap that with victory against Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26.

"It's not an objective to be the best in history".

The Barcelona attacker also analysed the Brazil squad that has been named for the World Cup, acknowledging that the team works well in a group and also has great individuals.

Marcelo told reporters: "The best come to Madrid and I would love to play with Neymar".

On Sunday, the central defender was speaking to Canal Football after being crowned champions of France and Marquinhos backed what president Nasser Al Khelaifi said, " I have the feeling that Neymar will stay.
