Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Rumors and expectations

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Rumors and expectations

Listening to the wishes of customers, Samsung has managed to increase their sales. Along with the new Burgundy Red color, the new options join already available Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple SKUs.

Two new colours introduced in the smartphones includes Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red. The report states that Samsung particularly will focus on India as it wants to give a tough fight to new competitors like Xiaomi, who have hoarded the budget smartphone market in the country. The version is expected to debut in June across stores in UAE, Vietnam, Russia, Spain, Mexico, Hong Kong, Germany, Chile, Korea and Australia.

As is the case for many a new phone color, Samsung has a pretty eccentric description for both finishes of the S9 that are definitely worth reading.

The Sunrise Gold and Titanium Grey editions will be available to pre-order in the United Kingdom from 22nd June and will be on sale from 29th June.

As for the specs, Galaxy A8 Star will feature a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

Until Samsung launches the Android P beta program exclusively for its Galaxy S9 handset, we need to wait. The certification documents also confirm that the Galaxy A8 Star will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed.

With 8-megapixel front camera and the primary 12-megapixel lens, Samsung said the S9 were brighter, sharper even in low-lit conditions.

Samsung did point out that additional market availability will be coming soon for these devices but they haven't revealed any details about those plans at this time. A device with Galaxy A Star moniker was also spotted on Bluetooth SIG last week.
